Create Design
Documentation, Participate in peer reviews
- Create new code and modify existing software in-line
with the coding standards, keeping in mind maintainability and
extensibility
- Unit test the code using automated tools
- Ability to manage and monitor the tasks assigned to
the individual
- Ability to investigate defect reports and provide
causal analysis
- Create/update test harness as required
- Ability to collaborate with a distributed team.
Mandatory
skills:
- Core Java and Java web development
- Java scripting and AJAX frameworks
- Struts 2.x or Spring
- Basic SQL
- JUnit
- Eclipse IDE
Optional
Skills:
- Dojo, ExtJS, JQuery
- Build using ANT, Maven
- Deployment on Tomcat, WebLogic
- Knowledge of open source projects
- UML, Design Patterns
