Position Overview

Replicon is looking for Java Developers who have a passion for testing and code quality. This role requires strong coding capabilities along with automated testing principles on the level of unit tests and some quality processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Further extend current automation framework
Participate in designing automation infrastructure direction for the organization and work closely with test automation architect
Maintain and extend automation test framework
Collect and analyze different test metrics to determine code coverage and test effectiveness
Assess overall code quality and flexibility, and the application of good object-oriented programming techniques for test framework is a must
Detect automation code bugs

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
3+ years of experience programming and development in Java
Solid design and development skills in Java
Java Programmer Certification ( Preferable)
Good understanding of software development methodologies and quality processes
GUI test automation experience (i.e. Selenium WebDriver 2.0) is a plus, but not mandatory
Experience in developing and expanding code frameworks
Preferred to have knowledge in web technologies (JavaScript, CSS, XML, HTML)
Experience in writing test automation and a passion for UI testing
Experience testing database driven applications including data validation using SQL (managing and development) is a plus
Good understanding of object oriented programming with strong coding and debugging abilities
Thorough understanding of software design principles, algorithms, data structures, and multi-threading concepts
Outstanding debugging, troubleshooting and technical problem solving skills
Ability to work in a team of developers and deal with daily code promotions and code merges using Accurev
Experience working with Jenkins
Be a strong advocate of page object model
Passionate about testing and code quality
